Earth Hour Poem!!! 😀

This is our challenge for week four, and I wrote a poem about Earth Hour and saving power. Earth hour is Saturday, March 27, 2010. Turn off your lights for an hour starting at 8:30 PM. We’ve saved a lot of electricity in this program during past years, and I hope we can do it again. I also hope you like my poem!!! 😀

Poem: Earth Hour

Turn off your lights
because we’re in a fight!

Against global warming of course!
If we apply force,
we can win and endorse an ECO-FRIENDLY planet!

Saturday Night,
Starts the fight,

At eight-thirty,
don’t get flirty.

Because we’ve got to turn off our light for an hour,
to win the mighty fight with power!
If we use all our might, we can tower and win!

Saturday night,
8:30 PM local time,
we’ve got to stop the crime,
and turn out our lights.
We’ll win the fight,
if we use all our might,
and turn out the lights for one hour,
and save the power.
